Today, Gian and I went to Montjuïc and Barri Gotic. So, I know I’ve said that every day has been spectacular as far as sightseeing goes, but Montjuïc was incredible. The day was so fun! We walked along the beach front, rode the funicular up the mountain side, and explored an old fortress. Then, we went to the museum, saw the fountains (which, I wish we would have seen at night too!) and explored more of the hillside. Gian and I then went to the Barri Gotic to see the Cathedral of Barcelona, but we got separated and could not find each other. We separately made tours of the area and each got different fun pictures. Luckily, we both knew to make it back to our inn and met there a couple hours later.
In the evening, we went out for a fun dinner and then made our way to a bar then dance club, where we stayed until nearly 5:00 a.m.! It was such a wild and fun evening… the residents of Barcelona definitely enjoy their dancing!
