Barcelona – Final Day
Today was our last day in Barcelona.
Today, we went to Casa Mila or La Pedrera. It is another Gaudi work. The pictures are stunning as was the audio tour. We spent over tour hours just wandering around this former apartment building. Then, we went to the main opera house in Barcelona and spent the afternoon wandering around the neighborhoods nearby and shopped.
It was such a fun day!
Tonight, we ate at the Italian restaurant that we had dinner at a couple nights ago. We met the owners parents the other night and decided to go back. Again, the staff was so friendly and the meal was so fantastic! If you are ever in Barcelona, go eat at Gusto just off of Comte d’Urgell at Rosselló 108. Though not what you might think of as far as food goes in Spain (pizza, pasta?) it is well worth a trip… absolutely delicious Italian food!
Soon, we’ll go out for our last drink then make our way to the airport, back to Seattle…
I’ll have the pictures online in the next couple of days.
