Gian and I just got back from Hawaii. We went for a long weekend trip to celebrate Gian’s birthday. While we were there, there was a major earthquake in Santiago, Chile. This resulted in a tsunami warning for all the Pacific, including Hawaii. Gian and I had to go out searching for food, battling long lines and sold-out stores. In the end, there was luckily no major catastrophe. We spent a lot of time at the beach, and drove around the island, visiting gardens and beaches and mountain lookout points. It was stunning… I’m ready to go back.
